Will bring

Frenzy exit polls

Competing weirdly

As the bell tolls

We wait

Whither democracy

We say and

Enter autocracy?

We wait

Knowing full well

That no one knows

If the future is hell

We wait

As the chest of arrogance

Smothers all

And specially tolerance

We wait

In struggle endless

For justice

Striving tireless

We wait

For the new dawn

A deeper resolve

To be born

We wait

In silent prayer

Confident

That God is there
